Featuring a killer four-sided curved display and super-fast charging, Huawei is ready to step into the arena in the eternal game of phones.
The professional industry analyst, Pan Jiutang, was the first to leak the news, however the details have not been officially confirmed by Huawei.
Following comments by Dr. Li Yangxing, the Chief scientist at Watt laboratory, Huawei (unintentionally) announced that it had achieved critical breakthroughs in the area of grapheme-assisted battery development. This, in turn, revealed the existence of Huawei’s flagship device.
In the past, Huawei's Academia Sinica Watt laboratory has presented related fast charge technology: 5 minutes of charging an empty 3000mAh battery to 48%.
Other compelling features of this killer concept include some truly bizarre rumors. These include the absence of front and rear physical cameras, no visible physical capacitive keys, or physical speakers, or even a headphone jack.
This seems to imply a modular phone approach, allowing Huawei (or third parties) to sell proprietary hardware modules – for example, headsets, smart band or watch, external camera, and more.
Even more mysterious is the comment from Dr Li that the concept phone would be released in December this year. Stay tuned to this breaking news. We will release further news once we have it.
