Today, Meizu will be holding its latest product launch in Beijing, to officially release its 12th smartphone of the year – the much-anticipated Noblue X.

The biggest highlight of the Noblue X smartphone is MediaTek's first 16nm FFC processor, the Helio P20 – an octa-core, Cortex A53 CPU running at 2.3GHz.

The new arrival from Meizu is also expected to feature LPDDR4X-1600 low-power consumption memory (up to 6GB), eMMC 5.1 flash memory, LTE Cat.6 300Mbps baseband and dual carrier aggregation.

According to leaks from a Meizu engineer, the Helio P20-powered Noblue X delivers exceptional performance. Smart design also ensures the temperature will never exceed 40°C (104°F) even after one hour of continuous gaming.

In addition, the camera looks set to be a huge draw for potential customers; leaked photos captured by Noblue X featured rich color, brightness, and vivid details comparable with the Huawei Honor 8.

The price is expected to be 1,999 RMB (approx. US$290), making the Noblue X an attractive proposition as an affordable powerhouse.

The latest iteration of Meizu's proprietary OS, Flyme6, is also expected to make an appearance with "Make 6 Great Again" the latest official slogan from the company. We expect even higher performance, a more responsive and fluid experience, and significant functions to be added for an even better performance.
