As the latest generation of Android, it integrates AI technology and introduces new gestures to follow the trends. It is also reported that the Android P focused on upgrading three major parts, including intelligence, simplicity and digital wellbeing.
Among them, "intelligence" refers to AI technology integration, which enables the device to understand the user's using habit better, so that the system level could make a preemptive response and prioritization. For example, the new function APP Actions on Android P uses AI and machine learning to predict what the user wants to do next, which is similar to the circumstantial intelligence experience on devices such as Huawei.
It is worth mentioning that the new Android P Beta brings new interfacial designs and icons, and redesigns the bottom navigation bar by replacing three virtual navigation bars (return key, home key, and multitasking key) with a return key and a dash like the one on the iPhone x. The horizontal line is equal to the home key and the multitasking key.
In addition, Google announced the first batch of models that supports the Android P Public Beta, including Vivo X21, OPPO R15 Pro, One Plus 6, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Sony Xperia XZ2, Nokia 7 Plus, Essential PH-1, as well as Google's own 11 models like Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL and others.
