AirPods Pro are Apple's first in-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which adapts to the shape of your ear and blocks out the outside world so you can focus on what you're listening to.
Further more, the ANC in AirPods relies on a feature that called Ambient EQ. When you turn off noise cancellation, Ambient EQ is also disabled, meaning sound quality is slightly degraded. So for the best AirPods Pro audio experience, it's better to keep noise cancellation on.
Moreover, if you want to experience a full features about AirPods Pro, it better to upgarde to iOS13.2 version. And the tips below also need iOS13.2 devices.
By default, pressing and holding either AirPod Pro stem will cycle between Noise Cancellation Mode and Transparency Mode, or you can control the noise functions on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 1: Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Press and hold the Control Center volume bar (a pair of earbuds will be visible inside of it to indicate the AirPods Pro are connected.)
Step 3: Click the Noise Cancellation option at the bottom of the screen.
●You can also control Noise Control functions by going to "Settings - Bluetooth" and tapping the circled "i" icon next to your AirPods Pro.
●And if you've got your AirPods connected to a Mac running macOS Catalina, you can control it from the volume icon in the menu bar.
Many users know that AirPods Pro can switch noise reduction modes or turn it off in the control center of iPhone. But few people know that it can actually be accessed on Apple Watch.
Step 1: Make sure your Airpods Pro are connected to your iPhone and the music audio is playing.
Step 2: Wake up your Apple Watch.
Step 3: Tap the icon with the triangle and three circles in the lower left corner on the "Now Playing" screen,
Step 4: Choose your AirPods Pro in the audio list, and switch on Noise Cancellation.
You can use noise cancellation feature when using only one AirPod Pro, which is useful if you like to take calls or listen music using just the one earbud.
Step 1: Light up your iPhone or iPad, find and tap the "Setting" icon.
Step 2: Choose "Accessibility - AirPods".
Step 3: Switch on the "Noise Cancellation on one AirPods"
These are all the ways to turn on the noise reduction function for AirPods Pro, precisely because AirPods adds the active noise reduction function, which is also a method to distinguish between true and fake AirPods Pro. Although there is little difference in the appearance of AirPods Pro clones, the actual experience is still very different! If you want to buy authentic AirPods, be sure to buy them at a special Apple store.
