Step 1: Turn off the Xiaomi Mi Box S and unplug the power. While press and hold the remote control's [Home button] and [Menu], and connect the Xiaomi Mi Box S power.
Step 2: Press and hold the [Home button] and [Menu] button on the remote control until you enter the Recovery mode.
Step 3: In Recovery mode, we can choose to clear the cache, clear user data, clear all data three options
Step 4: Select [Empty Cache] and [Empty User Data], and click [OK] to clear all user data including the power-on password.
Step 5: After completing the cleanup, select [Restart Box] - [Restart into System 1 (Recent)] to complete the reboot. The reboot into system 1 refers to the most recent system version.
