The 2.4Ghz frequency has a very good range but sends the information relatively slowly. The 5.8Ghz frequency, on the other hand, sends information very quickly but has a reduced range.
Depending on the situation and where you are flying, you may want to prefer range to video transmission and/or vice versa. By default, the DJI Mavic Mini has an Auto mode that will choose which frequency to use and change as needed. However, you can switch to manual mode and select the one you want to focus on.
Step 1: Enter DJI Fly APP main page.
Step 2: Go to the camera settings and click the three dots at the top right of the screen,
Step 3: Go to the "Transmission" tab and then to "Channel mode" select "Manual".
Step 4:You can choose the channel by touching the bar that you think is most suitable (it must be green and relatively high to ensure good reception).
