1) Wash the pots every time after use.
This can be done in the sink, filling it with water and adding dishwashing detergent. Stainless steel pots should be washed by hand, as their handles may be damaged in the dishwasher.
● Immediately after washing, wipe the utensils with a towel or cloth so that there are no water stains on it. If such stains are still formed, wash the pot in an aqueous solution of soda (it can be reused) and dry by wiping with a soft cloth.
2) Clean utensils from sticking food.
Pour water into the pan so that it covers the bottom of 2-3 cm, and put it on fire. Wait for the water to boil.
● As soon as the water begins to boil, add 2 tablespoons of salt or 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
● Leave the water to simmer gently for 30 minutes.
3) Scrape off food residue.
Scrape the bottom of the pan with a plastic or wooden spatula, removing food residue. Continue to scrape until the surface is completely clean.
● If traces of burns remain on the pan, they can be removed with baking soda. Just sprinkle the bottom with a small amount of soda and rub it in a circular motion using a clean rag or sponge.
● You can dry it or add a little water to make a thick paste. Continue to rub the soda until the burn marks disappear. After that, rinse the pan under water and dry it immediately.
● To remove stubborn stains, a slightly abrasive sponge can be used by gently wiping the surface with it.
4) Polish the utensils.
To make your pots shine like new, you can treat them with a stainless steel polishing agent specifically designed for dishes. It can be purchased at supermarkets and hardware stores in the dishwashing department.
● Do not use an industrial cleaner to polish stainless steel products. It contains much more rigid substances in comparison with means for polishing of utensils.
1) Remove grease and dirt.
Wipe away food residue, grease stains and finger marks from metal surfaces. Use a wet towel and a mild detergent for this, for example, dishwashing liquid - this is quite enough for pre-cleaning the metal. Use only a few drops of detergent to prevent a soap layer on the surface.
● Stuck in food and stubborn fat can be scraped off with a nylon washcloth.
● Never use steel wool or other brushes that do not have a "Non-Scratch" mark. Abrasive materials will cause scratches on the smooth surface of stainless steel, which only a professional can remove.
2) Polish the surface.
For polishing stainless steel, you can use glass cleaner, olive, lemon or baby oil. Lightly moisten a microfiber cloth with a selected polishing agent and wipe the surface with it.
● Try to rub along the traces of the previous polishing.
3) Remove excess polishing material.
Gently wipe the surface with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any remaining polishing solution. After that, dry the object before touching it with your hands.
● If stripes or scratches remain on the surface after polishing, you may need to contact a professional who is cleaning metal surfaces.
1) Apply a non-abrasive cleanser.
Sprinkle a small amount (about two tablespoons) of baking soda over the inside of the sink. Take a clean damp sponge and wipe the surface of the sink with it, trying to move along the metal texture.
● To remove stains faster, you may want to use more active substances and a stiff brush, but this will do more harm than good.
● Bleach and other active products can damage the surface of the sink, and steel wool or other hard brush will leave scratches after use.
2) Pour vinegar inside the sink.
Vinegar will react with baking soda, starting to foam. This reaction will remove food residue adhering tightly to stainless steel. Wait for about 10 minutes until the mixture of soda and vinegar cope with all the dirt adhering to the surface of the sink.
● To clean the sides of the sink, pour vinegar into a spray bottle and sprinkle on it. In this way, you will uniformly apply vinegar to the surface, and it will not drain from it onto the floor.
● The drain hole and other grooves can be cleaned with an old toothbrush.
3) Rinse the sink.
Wash the sink with water and wipe it with a dry cloth or towel. Now your sink should be clean, radiant and ready for further use.
● Consider using a plastic or rubber pad to protect the bottom of the sink. These rugs are inexpensive, and they will protect the metal surface from scratches that can occur when you wash dishes and cutlery in the sink.
● If you use a rug, take it out every week and wipe the sink so that no food debris or dirt accumulates under it.
1) Fill a small cup with water.
Add a mild detergent to the water, such as dish soap, and dip a soft, lint-free cloth into the soapy water. Gently wipe the decoration with a moistened cloth, removing any dirt from it.
● Try to rub along the lines of the texture of the product, as a result the surface will look smoother.
2) Use a toothpaste for cleaning.
If the product is very dirty and dirt spots are visible on its surface, you can brush it with toothpaste. However, remember that toothpaste contains abrasive. After cleaning, rinse the decoration thoroughly with water, washing away all the remains of the paste.
● If you decide to use toothpaste, make sure that it does not have a whitening effect, that is, does not contain silica; Rub the paste with a soft cloth.
3)Dry the decoration.
Wipe the product with a clean, dry towel and let it dry completely.
4)Take care of the decoration and store it properly.
Although stainless steel is durable, its surface can be scratched. Try to keep the jewelry separate from other objects that could scratch it.
● If there are scratches on the jewelry, you can use the services of a jeweler who will polish it.
● Keep stainless steel products separate from items made from other metals. Keep them in separate bags or pouches.

● Clean regularly. The more often you clean stainless steel products, the easier it is to do, and the less chance that contamination will damage the protective film on the metal surface.
● If you are unable to remove the stain by mild cleaning and wiping, it is best to leave it as it is. A single spot or discolored spot is not as terrible as the danger of damaging the surface of stainless steel with any active substance.
● For really complex stains, such as rust or burning, use a 10% solution of nitric acid (aqua fortis). It, however, is usually used only in industry.
● Nitric acid is a very aggressive chemical and should not be used if you do not have skills to work with it.
● Never use bleach. Stainless steel is sensitive to chlorine, and contact with bleach will cause staining and damage to the protective film.
● Be careful when mixing any type of cleaner. Do not mix purchased cleaning solutions, such as "Bar Keepers Friend", with vinegar or other products.
