The app drawer is a popular feature in Android phones. It provides another special section to house all apps that have been installed on your phone, so your home screen will not be fully occupied by all kinds of app icons. Its existence makes the phone’s home screen neater and cleaner.
However, the MIUI software has been criticized for the lack of app drawer feature. To appease users who want this feature, Xiaomi even released POCO Launcher with a dedicated app drawer. Now, Xiaomi company has just officially announced that the latest MIUI 11 will add dedicated app drawer, but it’s presently only available for Chinese ROM.
For the global Xiaomi users, please don’t feel disappointed. As the MIUI 11 with dedicated app drawer will surely arrive globally. If you don’t want to wait, the MIUI Launcher may offer you the same functions.
Like the POCO Launcher, the MIUI Launcher is also an APK developed by Xiaomi company and it also offers a dedicated app drawer feature.
