Note: Presently, the Dark Mode is only available to part of Xiaomi phones.
To enable the Dark Mode on Xiaomi phones, please follow the detailed steps below:
Step 1. Go to Settings - About the Phone / My device - Tap the MIUI version build number 7 times to enter Developer Options.
Step 2. Go to Settings - Developer Option - Activate USB Debugging to enter the USB debugging mode.
Step 3. Connect your Xiaomi phone with PC or laptop via a USB cable.
Step 4. Open command prompt in the same directory where ADB binary is stored.
Step 5. Type or copy the following code into console according to your needs:
● Enable Dark Mode
adb shell settings put secure ui_night_mode 2
● Disable the Dark Mode
db shell settings put secure ui_night_mode 1
● Dark Mode in automatic
adb shell settings put secure ui_night_mode 0
Step 6. Reboot your phone to get the system-wide Dark Mode on your Pocophone F1, Redmi Note 7 or other Xiaomi phones.
Note: Before enabling the Dark Mode, you’d better change your phone’s theme to the classic version.
