Step 1: Turn on you Xiaomi Mi TV, and go to "Settings".

Step 2: Select "General Settings".

Step 1: Disconnect the electricity to the TV and wait for about 20 seconds for TV to discharge all stored values.

Step 2: Press and hold the "Home" and " Manual" buttons at the same time.

Step 4: The Xiaomi Mi TV start. If not, press the big white button under the "Mi" symbol, underneath the centre of the TV

Step 4: After Xiaomi Mi TV start up, the following recovery screen will pop up.

Step 5: Release the "Confirm" and "Return" button when the recovery screen appears.

● For the Xiaomi Bluetooth TV remote controller

Step 1: Disconnect the electricity to the TV and wait for about 20 seconds and reconnect it back.

Step 2: Press and hold the "Confirm" button and the "Restore" button at the same time.

Step 4: After Xiaomi Mi TV start up, the following recovery screen will pop up.

Step 5: Release the "Confirm" and "Return" button when the recovery screen appears.

Recovery selections

Reboot: When you wan to reboot the TV after wiping the data and cache.

Wipe Cache: This is where one will want to clean the cache.

Wipe User Data: This is where all the newly installed APKs will be wipe out.

Wipe All Data: This is where a factory reset will be performed to wipe out all the cache and data and restore the TV to its factory settings.

Users can choose the above options according to your actual situation.

Notice: If one has rooted the Xiaomi Mi TV before, it will not be advisable to select the option 4 to "Wipe All Data", because the process will wipe out all including root files and making Mi TV unusable.
