Step 1: Open the Huawei Health app, tap “Devices”, touch the device name, and then touch Music. (You can either tap on “Music” under FEATURED or tap on your Watch Icon then tap on Music.)
Step 2: You will find two options, “Manage music” and “Control phone music”.
●If you disable Control phone music, you can not control music playback of your phone music app or audio streaming apps like Spotify, while though the watch GT 2e.
●Tap on Manage music to add or delete music.
Step 3: Tap “Manage music”.
You will get two options in the bottom, “Add songs” and “New playlist”. Just tap on “Add songs” to add music.
Step 4: After that, a prompt will appear asking from where you want to add music, Device, or Music player. Here, we prefer adding from the Huawei device to have a folder view.
●Add music from the Music player is limited with Huawei/Honor EMUI phones.
●If you tap on Music, you will get a prompt: "Update the HUAWEI Music app and try again".
Step 5: Select songs you want to add and tap on Tick Icon on the top right. A prompt will appear saying "These songs will be transferred to your watch. You can still use your phone during transfer".
Step 6: Tap on “OK”. (Only MP3 and AAC audio formats are supported and the Huawei Watch GT 2e storage space is 2288MB.)
Step 7: After transfer, you can tap on the “New playlist” on the bottom right to add a new playlist. Enter the desired playlist name and tap OK. Select songs to add to the playlist and tap on Tick Icon on the top right. Your playlists will appear under MY PLAYLISTS. You can tap on the playlist name to add songs, rename and delete the playlist.
Huawei Watch GT 2e Playlists will not be accessible in Music Widget (left/right swipe from Watch Face), you need to open Music Player through Menu (Top Button->Music) to access Playlists. In Music Player tap on the Up Arrow icon on the bottom to access the playlists and list of songs.
Music will appear under ALL SONGS with the number of songs mentioned in the bracket. You can tap on the “...” icon on the right side of every song individually to add it to any playlist or delete it. You can long-press any song to delete multiple songs or add multiple songs to a playlist.
Note: You can not add Music through Huawei Watch GT 2e but you can delete it through the Huawei Watch GT 2e. Just tap on “...” icon in the bottom of Music Player, Tap on “Delete song” in the bottom, this will delete the current playing/paused song.
As we all know, the latest Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch has no speaker, but you can connect your watch GT 2e with a pair of Bluetooth earphones. Such as Huawei FreeBuds 3, Honor Magic earbuds, and so on.
Step 1: From the home screen press the Up button and go to “Settings > Earbuds”.
Step 2: Your watch gt 2e will search automatically for the Bluetooth earbuds list for pairing. Select the name of your Bluetooth earbuds and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing.
