The Mi Share is a part of Xiaomi Mi Work office suites and it is a new system function that MIUI 11 offers. Just like the AirDrop in iPhone, the Mi Share offers us convenient and fast file transfer experience between multiple devices, so we can easily share our files, pictures or apps to other devices wirelessly with no need to install any third-party apps or use USB cables.
Compared to the Bluetooth or any other third-party apps, the Mi Share offers higher file transfer speed. And its max transfer speed can reach 82MB/s according to official introduction. In addition, the Mi Share has no limitation to the number of files, file size, or file type, so it’s very convenient to use.
Presently, the Mi Share only supports Xiaomi phones with the MIUI 11 operating system based on Android 9.0 Pie or later versions. To check if your Xiaomi phones support Mi Share, you should first make sure your Xiaomi phones have been updated to the latest MIUI 11 operating system. If you don’t know how to check the update, just follow this guide: How to check the MIUI 11 update on Redmi K20 (Xiaomi Mi 9T), Redmi 7A, POCO F1, Redmi Note 7 and other Xiaomi phones.

In addition to the mutual transmission between mobile phones, Xiaomi can also transfer files between different devices, but at present, the mutual transmission with other devices is not perfect. Only the Redmibook 14 Enhanced Edition supports this feature. Xiaomi officials said more devices are in the adaptation.
