1.What is Joy-Con and what’s the function of it?

Hold the Joy-Con controller with the “+” , ”-”side up, slide the Joy-Con from top to bottom along the rails on both sides of Nintendo Switch host screen until you sounds a click.  

Connect Joy-Con controller to Joy-Con grip

Hold the Joy-Con controller with the “+” , ”-”side up, slide the Joy-Con from top to bottom along the rails on both sides of the Joy-Con grip until you sounds a click and the indicator light is on.

Connect Joy-Con controller to Joy-Con strap

Put the front side of Joy-Con controller and Joy-Con strap with “+”, ”-”side up, Pull down the white clasp on one side of the strap to unlock it. Then slide the Joy-Con strap from top to bottom along the slide rail until you sounds a click. Then push the white clasp to lock it.

6. How to detach the Joy-Con controller from Nintendo Switch devices?

Detach the Joy-Con controller from host screen and grip

Find the unlock button on the back of the Joy-Con. Then press the unlock button while sliding the Joy-Con from bottom to top until the Joy-Con is completely detached from the device.

Pull down the white lock on the Joy-Con strap to unlock it. Then slide down the Joy-Con strap until it is totally detached. (No need to press the unlock button on the back of the Joy-Con)
