So you've just got your brand new PIMAX 4K VR 3D PC headset and you can't wait to dive in. But then you realize that what you see is not quite right: the image is blurry. Does this mean the headset is broken? Probably not. Let's see what might have happened.
One of these 5 issues could be causing the problem.
Reason 1: Pre-existing eyesight conditions.
If you are suffering from conditions like myopia, presbyopia, or astigmatism and are using the PIMAX 4K VR headset without the appropriate lenses, this may result in you seeing a blurry image.
Solution: If you do suffer from any of these conditions, do not take off your optical glasses or contact lenses when using the PIMAX 4K VR headset. Wearing glasses together with the VR set may be uncomfortable, so contact lenses should be a better option.
Reason 2: The VR headset band is too tight.
When you put on the headset, make sure it's not too tight on your head. If it is, the headset will constrict your eyes making the images appear blurry - especially if you wear it this way for a long time.
Solution: Adjust the tightness of the VR headset's strap to make sure it feels comfortable when wearing it. Do not bind it too tight.
Reason 3: The interpupillary distance is set incorrectly.
Interpupillary distance is the distance between the pupils of your eyes - and it's different for every person. If the interpupillary distance is not set correctly for your eyes on the VR headset, the images in the headset will come out blurry.
Solution: Before using the PIMAX 4K VR PC headset, make sure you set it up correctly. Go to Piplay Settings, choose the IPD option and adjust the interpupillary distance accordingly until you can see the VR images pretty clearly.
Reason 4: Incorrect distance between eyes and screen.
When the VR screen is too far from your eyes, the images will be too small to see clearly. But if the image is too close, you won't see it clearly as well. Thus, it's crucial to set this distance right.
Solution: Go to the PIMAX VR headset' Settings and adjust the distance between the screen and your eyes.
Reason 5: The quality of the video source is not good.
The quality of a video depends on its vertical resolution. The experience you will have when watching a 360P video will be drastically different from watching the same video in HD. So, if the resolution of the original video is low, you might think there is something wrong with the VR headset. This is not the case.
Solution: If you are watching a video online, please check the video source's vertical resolution and change it to the 720P or 1080P. If it's a downloaded video, make sure it's in good resolution and download a better version if it's not. Therefore, you can enjoy a fantastic HD video.
