Propeller issues |
● Make sure the propeller is installed neither too tightly nor too loosely on the motor. Adjust the tightness and then restart the drone.
● Uninstall the idle propeller to check whether its motor works. If the motor works, there must be something wrong with the propeller. You can change another backup propeller coming with the package, alternatively, get the new Hubsan H501S X4 RC Quadcopter propeller on our Gearbest.
● If the motor doesn't work, examine whether the motor gear is well-installed on the motor. If not, re-install it carefully.
● If the motor gear is quite rightly installed, please take off the drone case (use an appropriate screwdriver to loosen the screw on the back of drone), and make sure the motor cable is well connected to the main engine (pay special attention to the integrity and junction of the cable). If the cable connection has something wrong, please take it to the professional fix store to repair it.
● If everything runs well, the motor may be broken. You can ask the professional fixing store for help, or buy a new original motor on our GearBest.
● Firstly, verify whether the propeller is installed too tightly or loosely on the motor. If it is, please adjust the tightness and then check whether it can spin as fast as other propellers.
● The drone and transmitter maybe not bound well. Try re-calibrating the gyro first, and then rebind the drone and the transmitter:
a. Press "ENTER" button and power on the transmitter simultaneously until "Bind to Plane" displayed.
b. Then power on the drone, and place it very close to the transmitter.
c. The binding will be completed after one "beep" heard.
● The propeller may be broken, so try uninstalling the propeller and change a new one on the motor. There are backup propellers in the product package.
● The four electric motors' output power is different, please place the drone on a horizontal surface and press the below button to fine tune their output power.
● However, if the propeller still spins slowly after trying all above steps, the motor must damage. You can take it to a digital product fixing store to check and repair or exchange the component. If there is no appropriate motor for your drone, you can contact the after-sales service for help.
Signal receiving issues |
● Your drone may fly indoors or be surrounded by buildings. If it does, please take it to outdoors and choose an open field (void of obstacles, tall buildings and steel structures).
● Examine if you pair X4 and the transmitter well, if not, please re-pair X4 and the transmitter by the following steps:
a. Press "ENTER" button and power on the transmitter simultaneously until "Bind to Plane" displayed.
b. Then power on the drone, and place it very close to the transmitter.
c. The binding will be completed after one "beep" heard.
You can also refer to the Instruction Manual.
● Try removing FPV antenna(5.8G Antenna) firstly and check if it has signals.
● If FPV screen still has no signals after removing 5.8G antenna, the extensional antenna(2.4G Antenna) may be damaged, so try changing another one.
● There maybe some strong interference sources around, so please change another place.
● The drone and the transmitter sometimes also affect signal quality, so try re-pairing X4 and the transmitter by the following steps:
a. Press "ENTER" button and power on the transmitter simultaneously until "Bind to Plane" displayed.
b. Then power on the drone, and place it very close to the transmitter.
c. The binding will be completed after one "beep" heard.
● Check if you exit the RTH Mode when arming the motors, if not, please pull down the RTH Switch.
