OTG is short for USB On-The-Go, is a specification first used in late 2001 that allows various digital devices to connect with each other for data exchange. In the absence of the host, it can transfer data between USB devices.
Use of USB OTG allows those devices to switch back and forth between the roles of host and device. For instance, a mobile phone may read from removable media as the host device, but presents it as a USB Mass Storage Device when connected to a host computer.
OTG is a cool function to make your phone into a power bank, you can share your power to your friends and family. It can also power the mini fans and lights.
MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) is a standard audio and video interface for connecting portable consumer electronic devices. The MHL uses only one signal cable and can be presented on a high-definition TV via a standard HDMI port.
