OnePlus, Samsung, Sony, Huawei or even Nokia. Many manufacturers have already announced their intention to launch at least one product equipped with 5G in 2019. The first compatible smartphones are very expected and their outputs should punctuate the news in 2019. Smartphone or not, it's more than 30 5G devices that will be launched in 2019. If you want to be one of the first people to own a 5G Smartphone, it's up to these devices to turn.
Samsung has introduced all of its new devices for the beginning of the year 2019. The Galaxy S10 is numerous, between the Galaxy S10 + and the Galaxy S10e. However, only a particular Edition will have the right to compatibility with 5G networks.
If this Galaxy S10 does not have a particular name, we will call it Galaxy S10 5G, we know that it takes advantage of 8gb of RAM and a storage space of 256 GB. Its screen is also a bit bigger at 6.7 inches, just like its 4 500 mAh battery. However, it is a dead end on the Jack.
Above all, this edition of the latest Smartphone star of the Korean manufacturer will not be available in France before... 2020. for cause: the 5G network is simply not deployed enough with us.
Huawei has certainly had the star announcement of the Mobile World Congress 2019 by presenting its first foldable Smartphone: the Huawei mate X. At the same time, it is also the first 5G-compatible Smartphone of the brand: its buyers will definitely be at the forefront of technology.
It's still a luxury device. Announced at 2299 euros for an outing towards the middle of the year 2019, the Huawei mate X will not be accessible to everyone. It is however the most fashionable device of 2019, and certainly the most awaited foldable Smartphone.
The Xiaomi MI mix 3 is one of the successes of the beginning of the year. The manufacturer had previously announced that a 5G version would soon arrive.
This was formalised at the Mobile World Congress 2019. The Xiaomi MI mix 3 5G takes advantage of the Snapdragon 855 and its X50 modem for this. Its release in France was well officialised at 649 euros during the month of May.
Don't call it OnePlus 7. The boss of the Chinese brand confirmed that his first Smartphone compatible with 5G networks would not be the OnePlus 7, but a whole range separate. And for cause, the integration of 5G would make the Smartphone's selling price too high, while it always put on its performance/price ratio despite successive price increases. This 5G Smartphone should be marketed before may 2019.
It should incorporate the Snapdragon 850 with Qualcomm's X50 5G NR modem. A brand manager was even staged at a Qualcomm event to announce that he would be one of the first to offer a 5G product in 2019. During the MWC 2019, the manufacturer teamed up with shadow to present a 5G-powered gaming cloud game demonstration.
Sony was well on hand at the Mobile World Congress 2019 to reveal its new high-end Xperia 1, as well as its new mid-range and entry-level models, Xperia X10 and Xperia L3.
Released from these, the Japanese manufacturer also presented its first prototype 5G Smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 855 and the X50 modem. However, it is far from ready and is not yet destined for eventual commercialization.
The Mobile Division of LG may not be in excellent health, the Builder still has to be part of the party. As a bonus to the LG G8 ThinQ, the LG V50 ThinQ was presented at the Mobile World Congress 2019. The latter is a team of the Snapdragon 855 and the X50 modem, and has the particularity of having a second detachable accessory screen.
The first 5G-compatible model of the brand, the LG V50 ThinQ should not be available in France, however. We will remain alert as to a possible announcement, which could be carried out in the second part of the year.
Oppo opened the ball of the Mobile World Congress 2019, and took the opportunity to be the first manufacturer to officialise a first Smartphone 5G... but half-word. Indeed, the manufacturer did not really present the device in detail, and was mainly content to warn that it would be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 and the X50 modem.
Oppo has also partnered with some operators around the world to facilitate the launch of this 5G Smartphone... which we know neither the price nor the date of release. Just a little more patience.
ZTE also took advantage of the Mobile World Congress 2019 to showcase its new smartphones. These include the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G.
Also equipped with the Snapdragon 855, it should be released in China and Europe during the first half of the year 2019. However, we do not yet have any information about its marketing price.
Orange was present at the Mobile World Congress 2019 as an operator... but not that. The brand will also market its first 5G smartphone from 2020 to the commercial launch of the 5G network.
6.47 inch AMOLED display, 48 photo sensors, 20 and 8 Megapixels and focus on artificial intelligence are at the moment the only information we have on the device. Note that it is a priori built by ZTE as a white label, and looks like it is wrong with the axon 10 Pro visible above.
