On Tuesday, Google launched the 2019 edition of its Google I/O conference. On this occasion, the Android developer announced some of the new features planned for Android 10 Q, which will arrive this fall.
One of the main new features announced by Google concerns security updates of the system. Currently, these updates, offered monthly to manufacturers, necessarily require you to restart your smartphone to be installed.
This will no longer be the case from Android 10 Q onwards thanks to Android OS Framework. It will be possible to download the security patch directly without having to restart your smartphone later to use it. A feature that also comes with APEX to defragment Android and encourage manufacturers to offer security updates more frequently.
