WatchOS was another of the operating systems that received news in the inaugural keynote of WWDC 2019. Its sixth version will be available in the fall of this year, promising more independence than ever. The integration of the App Store stands out, so that any developer will be able to create their apps for Apple Watch without depending on their iPhone variant.
Apple has already revealed which smart clock models will be compatible with the new software. Fortunately, all devices released to date will have no problem running WatchOS 6:
Apple Watch Series 1
Apple Watch Series 2
Apple Watch Series 3
Apple Watch Series 4
According to Cupertino's company, developers will have access to the audio API for streaming music, radio and podcasts. In addition, Core ML already uses Apple's neural engine in the Apple Watch Series 4. Other novelties are found in health issues, such as monitoring the menstrual cycle or even detecting environmental noise.
WatchOS 6 will arrive in the fall, but those interested can already register and try the beta versions. Follow this link for more information.
