This is not the first time ASUS has tested leather on a laptop. ASUS first introduced its leather-wrapped S6F notebook in 2006, and its lid and palm are covered in leather.

In the ZenBook Edition 30, there is Intel's 8th generation Gen Core i7 processor, Nvidia's GeForce MX250 discrete graphics, up to 16GB of RAM and PCIe SSD storage. The 13-inch laptop is also equipped with an ASUS borderless display with a screen to body ratio of 95%. ASUS also includes its ScreenPad, which puts a screen on the trackpad.

ASUS has not disclosed the pricing or release date, but considering that the company sees it as a high-end product and is a limited edition, it will not be a cheap 13-inch notebook.
