In recent years, the full-screen mobile phone has become a new trend and enjoys wide popularity in the market. Below this kind of environment, screen share became the difference that manufacturers compete again.
Among them, OPPO and vivo, two manufacturers, have attracted a lot of consumers by virtue of their elevating pop-up cameras. At the beginning of 2019, these two manufacturers continued to make efforts and launched OPPO Reno and vivo X27 successively, which attracted market attention.
However, a high screen share does not mean a strong phone configuration. Here's a quick comparison of the two phones. It should be noted that the comparisons here are all ordinary versions. For example, the 10 times zoom version of OPPO Reno is not comparable because of its stronger configuration.
On the front, the two phones are actually quite similar, both with 1080P AMOLED screens. Reno has a 6.4-inch screen with a 93.1% screen size, and vivo X27 has a 6.39-inch screen with a 91.6% screen size. Both support screen recognition, but OPPO Reno also supports facial recognition.
Seen from the back, both are covered in 3D glass. OPPO Reno adopts the symmetrical design, placing the rear lens and logo on the central axis, while vivo X27 puts the rear lens in the upper right corner. In terms of color scheme, OPPO Reno has sea green, mist powder, nebula purple and polar night black, while vivo X27 has three colors of powder-blue, finery blue and emerald. The former is relatively more technical, while the latter is more fashionable.
In order to improve the screen proportion, the front lens is incorporated into the body of both phones. The difference is that OPPO Reno adopts the side-rotating lifting mode, while vivo X27 still adopts the pop-up lifting structure. In the actual test, the latter is a little faster.
However, it should be added that both methods increase the screen proportion and make the phone look more beautiful, but at the cost of increasing the weight of the phone. Vivo X27 weighs 190.3 grams and OPPO Reno weighs 185 grams, which may be heavy to hold.
OPPO Reno and vivo X27 are both mid-range models from the two manufacturers, with the main price range of $447 to $596.
OPPO Reno adopts the snapdragon 710 with 6+128GB/6+256GB/8+256GB memory combination. Vivo X27 is powered by snapdragon 675/ snapdragon 710, with 8+128GB/8+256GB memory combination, which is not too big a difference.
In terms of interface, both are equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and type-c interface.
In terms of battery life, OPPO Reno battery has a capacity of 3765mAh+20W VOOC FlashCharge, vivo X27 has a capacity of 4000mAh+18W (advanced version 22.5w) FlashCharge.
Both front lens parameters are 16 million pixels, rear lens, OPPO Reno 48 million +5 million pixels dual photography, vivo X27 48 million +13 million +5 million pixels three photography.
In the actual shooting, the sharpness of the two is almost the same. The main difference lies in the details such as the later optimization. Comparatively speaking, OPPO Reno imaging is more realistic with less optimization.
Both phones have just been released this year, with the vivo X27, which was launched on March 23, starting at $476.3, and OPPO Reno, which was released on April 10, starting at $446.8.
