Dell's Alienware m-series gaming notebooks were designed to balance performance, style and portability, and were originally launched last fall. At this year's Taipei Computer Show, Dell introduced the redesigned Alienware m15 and m17 laptops. Both computers have higher performance and better display.
The Dell Alienware m15 and m17 gaming laptops have a lot in common in terms of design and internal components. Both models are based on Intel's 9th generation core mobile processor (up to Core i9-9980HK processor) and NVIDIA's latest graphics card (up to GeForce RTX 2080). The key components of the Alienware m15 and Alienware m17 are cooled by the new Alienware cooling system, which uses thick copper and zinc alloy heat pipes, new fans and a large number of inlet and exhaust ports.
In addition to the newly improved internal structure, the new Alienware m15 offers a 4K OLED screen or a full HD IPS panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The m17 is equipped with a full HD LCD screen with a choice of 60 Hz and 144 Hz panels. Both models use Tobii's eye tracking technology. The new Alienware m15 and Alienware m17 notebooks can hold up to 16 GB of DDR4-2666 memory and up to 4 TB of NVMe storage.
Finally, Dell plans to launch the new Alienware m15 and Alienware m17 gaming notebooks on June 11th, starting at $1,499 (with GTX 1650 graphics).
