Dell released 2019 XPS 15 new products: optional 9-generation i9 eight-core processor + 4K OLED screen

Dell presented a new generation of XPS 15 notebooks at today's Computex 2019. Although there is not much change in the design of the shape, it is still trying to improve its configuration. It is reported that the 2019 XPS 15 still needs to be charged through the multi-function port, but the official is to stubbornly not deliver the 130W USB Type-C charger. On the CPU side, the optional Core i9-H standard pressure processor (up to eight cores) has been upgraded from the previous generation GTX 1050 Ti to the current GTX 1650.

It is worth mentioning that Dell has provided the XPS 15 with the option of 4K OLED screen for the first time, allowing you to get deeper black and more vivid color performance. Combined with the InfinityEdge border design, you can hardly see the position of the border.

In addition, this UltraSharp 4K OLED screen supports up to 500 nits of brightness or touch (400nits version does not support touch). If you don't need too high resolution, you can also choose the 1080p version, which lasts 20.5 hours.

On the network side, it supports Wi-Fi 6, claiming that the Killer AX1650 adapter can deliver three times the wireless network speed of 802.11ac.

It is worth mentioning that the camera moved the webcam to the top of the screen, but unfortunately does not support facial recognition, but Dell also integrated fingerprint recognition on the power button.

For storage, you can choose 64GB dual channel DDR4 2666 memory + 2TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD. The final machine is 1.7 CM (1.1 CM at the thinnest) and weighs about 4 lbs (1.8 KG).

Dell said that 2019 new XPS 15 products are coming soon, starting at $999. For OLED models, the starting price is as high as $1899.99.
