Google continues to work harder and harder on its Material Theming in its applications. The latest to experience the most changes is Google Maps, which recently hosted a permanent dark theme for navigation, but also new features.

Since there are so many of them, Google Maps services are naturally being improved little by little. This time, it's the search results that get a little touch-up, as Android Police has identified.

Above, you can see the interface as it has always existed until now. Only a few icons differentiate the various elements, which all remain grey except for the pre-registered home and work addresses.

We can see that, overall, large white areas are once again taking their place, as is the case with the latest design changes to Google applications. But above all, the icons here are much more noticeable thanks to different colors depending on the type of result found.

The update is done gradually on the server side and is not linked to the version of the application. At the time of writing, 3 out of 4 smartphones are currently taking advantage of this, for example. So be patient!
