Originally released on Xbox one, this compilation includes the following 6 Halo games:
▪ Halo : Combat Evolved Anniversary
▪ Halo 2 Anniversary
▪ Halo 3
▪ Halo 3 : ODST
▪ Halo 4
▪ Halo Reach
So that's enough to do dozens of hours of single-player campaigning and multiplayer on more than a hundred different maps. Of course, the games are optimized in 4K HDR for the Xbox One X. We also learn that Microsoft will release the games in the order of Halo's history, i.e. PC players will be able to play the Halo campaign: Reach, multi sound and Firefight mode, then Halo: Evolved Combat, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4. Game prices are not yet available, nor are game release dates.
On Xbox One specifically, Halo: Reach multiplayer mode (including Forge and Theater) will automatically be available for those who own Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Campaign and Firefight modes will be provided as DLC. Owners of the Xbox Game Pass will have access to the entire collection.
Halo: Reach will be released on Microsoft store and Steam with campaign modes, Multiplayer and Firefight will be the first Halo tracks available for purchase on PC.
