While HP has not published detailed specifications, the case does not seem to have done much since the previous model. Thus, the weight is still at about 2.63 kg (ZBook 15 G6) or 3.2 kg (ZBook 17 G6) are, and in terms of the installed components can be expected with a correspondingly short battery life.
After Razer has presented comparatively thin and lightweight workstation laptops, the ZBook looks really huge. But the performance is more than making up for that: HP claims that the ZBook 17 G6 is the world's most powerful notebook. Precise specifications or even benchmarks remain the company but still guilty.
The press release speaks only of Intel Core i9 or Xeon CPUs and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics chip, but emphasizes that absolutely no throttling should occur with the larger model. HP sees the VR and 3D workflows as the uses of the ZBook.
With the ZBook, the memory and RAM are particularly easy to swap, and at least for the ZBook 17 G6 G6, the display achieves full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The new HP ZBook G6 will be available in July, prices have not yet been announced.
