This beta that arrives with the 9M1118 compilation does not arrive alone but is accompanied by the corresponding betas of watchOS 5.2.1, macOS 10.14.5 and tvOS 12.3. At the moment they are available for developers although if they follow the same rhythm as always tomorrow at this same time the public beta will be available for beta testers.
As we commented last week, this beta stands out for not incorporating any kind of aesthetic novelty although we think it is loaded with internal improvements focused on performance and autonomy that need a good review before making the leap to iOS 13 and resolve this version of iOS that has given a good performance.
One of the main novelties that we will see in the launch of this version of the operating system is TV, the new native application that will bring together the audiovisual content of the main streaming platforms such as iTunes, Netflix, HBO, Prime ... At the moment we believe that it lacks a facelift to finish sorting out all the content and integrate definitively with the platforms because right now there are many interesting series missing.
We believe that it is a first step and that in this process of betas should have given some kind of sign of improvement but the truth is that it is non-existent in this aspect. We will be looking forward to future betas to see if this application ends up profiling to be one of the most used on our iPad to enjoy multimedia content.
In the rest of the operating systems that have also seen their beta version today, we haven't seen anything remarkable in the developer's notes either and we will have to wait for the final release to see in detail what they have been able to fix and improve in these new versions.
At the moment we have to wait and above all look forward to June, as WWDC 2019 is just a few weeks away from starting, where we will see the new generation of operating systems that are undoubtedly eager to see the new features that Apple will bring us in the very near future.
