iOS 13's dark mode reveals itself in leaked screenshots

Apple is about to pull the curtains on iOS 13 and the rest of the operating systems the next WWDC. Although there are rumors about its functionalities, some more plausible than others, we have never seen real screenshots. So far, 9to5Mac has just released several dark mode screenshots of iOS 13 and some additional details of this release.

iOS 13: dark mode, new Reminders and the "Find my" icon

The publication specialized in the Apple universe has obtained from its sources screenshots of what the new operating system looks like. The one above shows the dark mode of iOS 13 in three different parts of the system:

▪ In the main screen, we see that the dock has a darker translucent color than in the normal version, lighter.

▪ Apple Music shows a completely black background.

▪ The iOS 13 Screenshots Editor also has a darker look.

As 9to5Mac has learned, the dark mode of iOS 13 can be activated from the Control Center or from the iOS settings. Of course, it will be much more like having it in that first menu if the user wants to alternate it frequently.

It should be noted that a dark mode on an iPhone with OLED display should be less "hard" on the battery. This type of screen deactivates the individual pixels to show this color, saving that energy. It will be interesting to see how this dark mode is treated on an iPhone XR, whose display is still LED and should not offer energy savings of any kind.

Here we see another of the details obtained. This is the Reminders app, where you can see the top capture in your version of iPad. It seems that this new app will offer a differentiated section for reminders and another for those that must be completed today, those that are programmed, the important and another with all of them. In addition to having underneath the individual lists that we have created.

Finally, as we saw a few weeks ago, the apps Buscar mi iPhone and Buscar mis amigos will be unified under iOS 13. The new app will be called "Buscar mi" and in the iPad version it will show a big map with a small window where our contacts are sharing location and in another tab the devices.
