The design of the iPhone XI and XI Max seems almost final,A number of other images show the camera module and the differences between the XI and XI Max in detail.
Already on Friday we reported about the renderings of OnLeaks and CashKaro. Beside the iPhone XI render video there is now also a video of the iPhone XI Max (embedded below). In addition, further views have been published showing the camera module in detail. The new pictures show that the individual lenses in the camera module do not sit flat in the housing as previously assumed, but slightly lower.
The front of the devices should be almost identical to the iPhone XS and XS Max: A 5.8 and 6.5 inch OLED display with comparable "thick" edges and a notch for the front camera including Face ID. Interesting: According to this information, the XI Max is quite a bit thicker than the iPhone XS Max - with a depth of 8.1 mm, it measures 0.4 mm more than its predecessor. The trend towards the thicker iPhone has continued for some time - an iPhone 6 Plus was still 7.1 mm thin.
