iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: screen size

Although Galaxy S10E is clearly Samsung's choice against the iPhone XR, the Korean technology giant uses different designs in terms of screen size and overall size.

The screen size of the iPhone XR is 6.1 inches, which is between the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. By contrast, the Samsung Galaxy S10E only has a 5.8-inch screen, which is the smallest phone in Samsung's latest Galaxy S10 series. This means that users will get some bigger screen space on Apple's iPhone XR.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: screen notch

Unlike many Android phone manufacturers, Samsung has been refusing to adopt notch design, as has been the case this year. All three models of Galaxy S10 are designed with punch hole cameras, which occupy less screen space. While the iPhone XR still uses screen notch to place sensors. Both phones have wider borders than their counterparts, and which design is better depends on individual preferences.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: screen resolution

To some extent, the screen resolution is not so important, as when the pixel density of the screen is over 300 ppi, your eyes will not be able to distinguish the pixels. But in terms of the specs data, Samsung Galaxy S10E is better than the iPhone XR. Samsung Galaxy S10E uses an AMOLED display with FHD + resolution, while the iPhone XR uses an LCD screen with 1792 x828 resolution.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: CPU performance

Although Samsung Galaxy S10E is equipped with the latest version of the snapdragon 855 processor, according to Tom's Guide's bechmark, the multi-core score of the snapdragon 855 is 11196 points, and the single-core score is 3552 points. While the iPhone XR with A12 chip is still slightly faster than the Galaxy S10E, as its multi-core score is 11221 points and a single-core score is 4794 points.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: camera

Smartphone manufacturers usually leave their best camera configurations to more expensive devices, and Samsung is no exception this year. Galaxy S10E has two rear cameras, while the more expensive S10 and S10 + adopt a three-camera system. The iPhone XR has only one rear camera, but Apple can use software algorithms to improve its image quality.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: interfaces and characteristic

Over the past few years, Apple's devices have become more and more compact, so iPhones have fewer interfaces and buttons. Many Android manufacturers are imitating such designs, but Samsung Galaxy S10E does not.

The iPhone XR has only one Lightning interface, and it supports Face ID. However, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung Galaxy S10E looks like a flagship mobile phone three years ago. In addition to the USB-C interface, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack to support fingerprint recognition. Both devices support wireless charging, but the Galaxy S10E can charge other devices through wireless PowerShare.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: storage space and price

In terms of price, the iPhone XR starts from $750 for the 64GB version, while the Samsung Galaxy S10E starts from $750 for the 128GB model. So the Galaxy S10E is cheaper than the iPhone XR. Besides, the Samsung Galaxy S10E has a slightly larger capacity, so it has a slight advantage. Samsung Galaxy S10E basic edition has 128GB of storage, while the basic iPhone XR has 64GB of storage. In addition, Galaxy S10E supports micro SD card expansion while iPhone XR doesn’t support.

iPhone XR vs. Samsung Galaxy S10E: color options

Both Apple's iPhone XR and Samsung Galaxy S10E offers us more than one color options, so you don’t need to worry about much on the color.
