Among the manufacturers who announced the development of 5G mobile phones are Huawei, Motorola, Samsung and Xiaomi. In August 2018, Motorola announced the new Moto Z3. The top-of-the-line smarthone is already being marketed in some countries. However, 5G Internet compatible models will only start exiting at 2019. Despite the step ahead, the Moto Z3 will not be able to integrate into the new technology alone.
Compatibility will depend on a Moto Snap, a modular accessory that can be fixed on the back of the phone magnetically. Smartphones that will receive the 5G Internet signal without the need for a peripheral accessory are already being developed.
The Chinese brand Xiaomi did not stay behind and revealed the release of a new model of Mi Mix, Mi Mix 3. The smartphone will have 5G Internet connectivity through the Snapdragon X50 modem. The handset will also be the first to be released with the Qualcom Snapdragon 855 processor.
Also, the rumors are that the Mi Mix 3 will have a display occupying almost 94% of the front of the handset and RAM of 10 GB, higher than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 model.
There is still no expected arrival in Brazil, mainly because the company has not officially marketed in our territory for some years, but should go to the stores of some countries still in 2019.
Huawei has already announced the closing contract with more than 20 countries to make use of 5G. Desso Mode, the Chinese manufacturer promises to be number one in the smartphone market in a few years.
Currently, the company is one of the technology giants and the third largest handset manufacturer in the world, but suffers boycott by some countries in Europe and the United States due to a suspicion of espionage with the Chinese government.
Next to Sprint, an American carrier, LG also announced the development of a 5G mobile phone, with release forecast for the first half of 2019. The possible technical specifications of the smartphone have not been revealed, but it will probably be a device with top-of-the-line settings.
Like the other major manufacturers, the Samsung giant has confirmed that it will launch two 5G compatible smartphones still in the first quarter of 2019. The models are the result of partnerships with North American carriers Verizon and AT&T.
It is possible that the technology is part of a new line, not the Galaxy S10, as some speculations pointed out. The idea behind this would be to allow the new devices to serve for 5G Internet stability tests for, only with more mature results, integrating the Galax
