The most expensive is Moto G7 Plus, which is available on the market in ruby (red) and indigo (dark blue) colors. Cheaper, Moto G7 Power is on sale with a blue finish. Check, below, the comparative specifications of Motorola phones.
The mobile phones have an LCD IPS display with virtually the same dimensions, with about 6.2 inches of diagonal. The Moto G7 Plus panel, however, offers more pixels (Full HD+) and tends to be a better option for those who want to watch HD videos. In Moto G7 Power, images are limited to HD+ resolution (1512 x 720 pixels).
The more expensive edition of Moto G7 also brings fewer edges around the display and a more discreet notch. The Power version has a simpler design: the screen has a coarser cutout, similar to Motorola One, with thicker edges.
Both mobile phones have an intermediate technical file. Moto G7 Power was announced in February 2019 with the Snapdragon 632 processor, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Recently, Motorola launched a new version of the mobile phone, with RAM and storage of 4 GB and 64 GB.
The Moto G7 Plus features a more powerful processor, the Snapdragon 636, which should favor the playback of heavier games and apps. The phone is available in only one version, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.
The photo set is the great attraction of Moto G7 Plus. The mobile phone has a dual camera of 16 megapixels (aperture of f/1.7) and 5 MP (f/2.2). The phone also brings optical image stabilization and 12 MP camera for selfies. Combined with a powerful processing chip for the middle range, the features should deliver good quality photos and videos even in dark environments.
In Moto G7 Power, cameras are simpler. The phone features a unique 12MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, they are 8 MP.
If the photo is the highlight of Moto G7 Plus, battery life is the flagship of Moto G7 Power. The mobile phone has a 5,000 mAh power cell, above the average that, according to the manufacturer, guarantees autonomy of up to 55 hours of use.
The Moto G7 Plus battery has a conventional capacity of 3,000 mAh, which should be enough for a day of moderate use. The most sophisticated edition of Moto G7, however, attracts by the speed of loading. According to Motorola, the cell phone can refuel 100% of the battery in less than an hour with the charger of 27 W that comes in the box.
The devices bring versions with few modifications of Android. They already come with Android 9 (Pie) installed and should be upgraded to Android 10 (Q) in the future. The software differences are small between the two phones.
The entry version of Moto G7 Power has a suggested price of R$ 1,399, exactly R$ 500 less than Moto G7 Plus, announced for R$ 1,899. In electronic commerce, cell phones can be found for about R$ 1,280 and R$ 1,880, respectively - depending on the offer of the day.
In March, Motorola announced a new version of Moto G7 Plus, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The cell phone can be found for R$ 1,499 in the official store of the brand.
