OnePlus 3 and 3T: they will have well Android 9.0 Pie the beta is launched

Launched in 2016 and running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the OnePlus 3 is no longer young for a smartphone. However, as a sign of a market whose pace of innovation is slowing down, with its 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and Snapdragon 820, the smartphone still has some in its belly.

Enough for OnePlus to develop an update to Android 9.0 Pie for the smartphone. The OnePlus 3T that succeeded him 6 months later with its Snapdragon 821 is not to be outdone either.

The two smartphones will therefore be able to receive a third update to a new major version of Android, something quite rare, especially for a product that is not marketed by Google.

OnePlus has opened registrations on its official forum to participate in the beta. The brand warns that this involves very regular installations of new experimental versions, and potentially the deletion of smartphone data.

When the update is a little more stable, OnePlus should open a new beta phase, open to all.
