The new generation of mobile comes with big changes in the look. OnePlus 7 Pro gives up notch and most of the edges around the display. All this is possible thanks to the sliding camera, hidden in a mechanical component. In this way, the selfie sensor only appears when the user wants to take a photo, for example.
The screen is also larger, 6.67 inches with Quad HD + resolution (3120 x 1440 pixels), which generates a density of 516 pixels per inch (ppi). Specifications outperform the 6.4-inch Full HD + (2340 x 1080 pixels) panel with a density of 402 ppi. The launch display is expected to outperform the predecessor.
There have also been changes in technology, since OnePlus 7 Pro brings a panel known as Fluid AMOLED. According to OnePlus, the screen won the A + ranking in the specialized website DisplayMate, placing it next to phones like Galaxy S10 Plus. The OnePlus 6T has an OLED display.
Another novelty is the screen with refresh rate of 90 Hz, which should favor the experience in games, for example.
The new generation of the mobile phone has a triple camera. There are three sensors divided as follows:
● Main, 48-megapixel and f / 1.6 aperture
8 megapixel telephoto lens (f / 2.4)
● 16-megapixel wide-angle (f / 2.2)
● The OnePlus 6T has two 16- and 20-megapixel sensors. The aperture is f / 1.7 in both cases.
Regarding selfies, the resolution of the sensor is the same between the two generations: 16 megapixels. The difference lies with the sliding camera in the new generation.
Both generations have advanced data sheets and promise to perform well even with heavier games. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the most powerful features today: Snapdragon 855 processor, octa-core chip up to 2.84 GHz, and editions with 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB RAM.
The OnePlus 6T is not far behind. The Snapdragon 845 processor (octa-core up to 2.8 GHz), the same as the Galaxy S9 and LG G7, is present. The phone also has three RAM options: 6 GB, 8 GB and 10 GB.
In both cases, the storage is either 128 GB or 256 GB.
The launch brings a small increase in battery life, from 3,700 mAh to 4,000 mAh. Another difference between the two is that the OnePlus 7 Pro has a more powerful loader, with 30 watts of capacity. According to the manufacturer, the accessory is 34% faster compared to the predecessor.
The two handsets run Android 9 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9 customization, from OnePlus itself. Another similarity that approximates the two models is the offer of fingerprint reader allocated under the screen.
Neither model is officially marketed in Brazil. As the importation of smartphones through the Post Office is prohibited, according to Anatel, the devices end up being an option for those who have the opportunity to bring them out on a trip.
The OnePlus 7 Pro was announced in May 2019. The price is $ 669 for the 6GB + 128GB model, $ 699 (8GB) 256 GB and $ 749 ($ 3,068) with 12 GB + 256 GB.
Announced in October 2018, the OnePlus 6T arrived with the suggested price of $ 549 ($ 2,249).
