Oppo A9 arrives with 6.53-inch screen and 4,020 mAh battery

After a leak two days ago, OPPO finally decided to make official its newest intermediary smartphone, the Oppo A9. It is built around a full HD+ display of 6.53 inches and has a screen/body ratio of 90.7%.

The A9 is probably powered by the Helio P70 SoC, which is coupled to 6 GB of RAM. It runs the Android Pie operating system with the ColorOS 6 mask and comes with 128 GB internal storage. For photography, it has a dual camera configuration (16MP + 2MP) on the back and a 16MP snapper on the front.


The Oppo A9 boasts a three-dimensional design and is offered in three colors: Mica Green, Ice Jade White and Fluorite Purple. The smartphone comes with the GameBoost 2.0, features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4,020 mAh battery that powers the entire package.


Oppo A9 has a price of US$ 267 (R$ 1,051, on direct conversion) and will be on sale in China as of April 30.
