The attractive specs of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are the most discussed about. Now, let’s take a quick look at it first.

The first big design upgrade on the K20 series is the pop-up front camera, which is a first for Redmi. There are no notches on the either the K20 or the K20 Pro and, when you want to take a selfie, the front cam will come up from inside of the display and snap a photo of you.
Both the Redmi K20 Pro and the standard K20 come with an uninterrupted 6.39-inch Super AMOLED displays with HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). For protection, both phones get a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Another design notable is the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Both phones are available in three color options: Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Fiber Black
The K20 Pro comes powered by the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. For RAM, you get the choice of 6GB or 8GB, which you can pair with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The K20 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 for the GPU. The phone will be available in the same RAM + ROM combos: 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB or 8GB+256GB.
Both phones run on the Android-based MIUI 10.
Both phones come with a triple camera setup on the back featuring:
● A primary 48MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture
● A secondary 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens
● An 8MP telephoto camera equipped with a 2x optical zoom
As we've already mentioned above, there is a pop-up camera on the front with 20MP.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with a 4,000mAh battery and supports 27W fast charging. According to Xiaomi, you will be able to charge the phone to 58% in just 30 minutes and charging the device up from 0% to full would not take longer than 74 minutes tops

The standard K20 also features a 4,000mAh battery but only supports 18W fast charging.
The Redmi K20 series kick off at CNY2,999 / about $290 (for the 6GB + 64GB option) with the top 8GB + 256GB version priced at CNY2,599 / about $376.
The Redmi K20 Pro, on the other hand, starts at CNY2,499 / about $361 (6GB + 64GB) with the most powerful version of the device going for CNY2,999 / about $434.
Note: The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are already available in China and are expected to arrive in India by the beginning of July this year. We are yet to hear about release dates and prices for other countries.
With what we know about the Redmi K20 series so far, it seems that the two new Redmi smartphones are all ready to shake up the market a bit. With high-end specs for budget prices, quite capable of stirring up the market. With high-end specs and budget-friendly price tags, the two phones are definitely very interesting alternatives to pricier flagships currently dominating the market. We have yet to dive into more detailed comparisons between the actual performance of the K20 and the K20 Pro and the phones they are set to rival, but, at least on paper, the K20 series seems to be a very strong move on Redmi’s part.
