According to the Chinese media, Redmi's future flagship will have two versions of which will come out a variant for India called Poco F2.
It seems that finally the name with which tomorrow Redmi will officially baptize its next flagship at 10 am local Chinese time (4 am peninsular Spanish time) will be that of the Redmi K20, including a Pro variant. One of the rumors that we advanced a few weeks ago.
The Redmi K20 would be the little brother of the flagship that will present the Xiaomi submarine like the Mi 9 SE. Instead of the 855 this version would mount the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with variants (RAM/storage) of 6/64GB, 6/128GB arriving up to 8/256GB this last one in my opinion a little excessive counting on the superior version.
On the other hand the version K20 Pro will be the one that incorporates the Snapdragon 855 and to part of the present variables in its basic version would include another one to greater than 8GB of Ram and 128GB of storage. A total of 7 variants between the two versions, from which it seems that the also expected Poco F2 will come out in India, country from where the first Xiaomi submarine descends.
From my user point of view I do not find much sense because both brands sell smartphones globally and both the Redmi K20 Pro and the Poco F2 are two flagships that due to their expected value for money that we have already shown both brands could be two perfect bullets for Xiaomi to shoot against the niche of high ranges outside Asia. The range of colors for sale will be carbon black, fire red and glacier blue (as shown by Lin Bin).
If this movement is true the only viable alternative would be that this Redmi does not leave China, leaving for the Little the Indian market and the global. Although it would not cease to be a somewhat strange movement and a setback for the followers of Poco that would only have as a change the operating system as a differentiating element.
