Like the 9610, the Exynos 9609 is based on a 10nm FinFET process and features an eight-core design that includes a high-performance 4x2.2 GHz Cortex A73 core + 4x1 low-power core, 6 GHz Cortex A53. The Mali-G72 ARM assumes its role as GPU.
On the other hand, the Exynos 9609 is equipped with a neural network mechanism, which can recognize images through machine learning and supports intelligent depth perception technology. With this, a single camera can be used to capture photos and can also get the depth of field effect.
According to the official announcement, the Samsung Exynos 9609 supports configurations with 16 MP + 16 MP sensors, or a single 24MP sensor camera with support for 4K 60 FPS video recording.

A50 is not compatible. The Exynos 9609 is also 4K better than the Exynos 9610. The 9610 can encode and decode 4K video at 120 frames per second (fps), and the 9609 encodes at a maximum of 60 fps. When it comes to manufacturing, both chips are based on Samsung's 10nm FinFET process.
