Samsung has generally never wanted to participate in this price battle, focusing on offering different features to each pocket based on the Galaxy M, Galaxy A, Galaxy S and Galaxy Note ranges. But now it looks like the company may have a new device up its sleeve this year to deal with inexpensive range tops like the Pocophone F2 or Honor mobiles like the Honor 20. As OnLeaks advances on Twitter, the company is working on two devices that are probably two versions of the Samsung Galaxy A90 that we've already talked about on our page as Samsung's possible cheap 5G mobile.
With 5G connectivity as the main difference between these phones, the big surprise comes when it is discovered that the Samsung Galaxy A90 would have the latest Qualcomm chipset manufactured to date. The same as the American version of the Samsung Galaxy S10, i.e. the powerful Snapdragon 855. In addition, we would be talking about a 6.7-inch phone with an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
The inclusion of Snapdragon 855 means Samsung is offering the same processor that would integrate the Pocophone F2. Since the A range is a step below the S range, it is to be expected that the price would be lower than Samsung's current range tops, but it is not clear if it would reach the figures that Xiaomi is able to offer.
Other features revealed by the leakster are, for the 5G variant, a triple 48MP + 8MP + 5MP camera, while the 4G model would have slight differences, still mounting a triple camera but with 48MP + 12MP + 5MP sensors to which would be added a mysterious exclusive feature called "Tilt IO" that could provide a new stabilization system based on IA just like Huawei does with his Huawei AIS.
At the moment we don't have a release date for this Samsung Galaxy A90, but with these features in play, we'll have to be very careful.
