As the official manufacturer site proves, Samsung didn't give the Galaxy M20 the nickname "Power". With its 5,000 mAh battery, Samsung's entry-level model should nevertheless be extremely durable. Whether the software update with Android Pie might even further improve the battery life is speculation. But users will soon be able to see for themselves, as Android Authority reports.
Samsung has now officially announced the update with Android 9.0 Pie for its new M-Class. The patch will be released on June 3rd for all three models of this smartphone generation. In addition to the Galaxy M20 available in Germany, there is also an M10 and an M30 elsewhere. The devices inherit the models of the Galaxy J series, which have previously been Samsung's entry-level class.
In addition to fresh Android features, the update also includes innovations developed by Samsung such as the One UI user interface. It remains to be seen when the software will reach the first Galaxy M20 specimens in Germany. Samsung often starts the update process in his home country South Korea and then expands it to more and more countries. Since neither One UI nor Android 9.0 are new territory for Samsung's developers, it shouldn't take too long until you can start the download here as well.
