Currently, there are three Galaxy M, which are the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30, aimed at cost-effectiveness. However, the rumors still point to the officialization of a Galaxy M40.
Some features have already been leaked, such as the existence of an option with 128 GB of storage space and also the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 of eight cores with 6 GB of RAM. Now, rumours have it that the M40 should have an Infinity-O screen, a hole in the display that houses the front camera, because of a teaser with #OMG.
Finally, rumors have it that the Galaxy M40 should be sold for something close to 25,000 rupees on Indian territory, or approximately 1412 reais in direct conversion and without the addition of national taxes. It will be necessary to wait to confirm this information. Unfortunately, no release date has been set.
Samsung has already revealed many devices for the 2019 generation, being several models for the Galaxy A series, which ranges from the Galaxy A10 to the Galaxy A80. In addition, there are still three models of a new line, the Galaxy M, currently composed of three devices, being they the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30.
We recently saw rumors about the possibility of there being a fourth device, the Galaxy M40, which has already undergone certification in the Wi-Fi Alliance, and had the supposed amount of storage space revealed. Now, it passes the Geekbench, famous benchmark test, displaying some interesting features. Check it out:
According to the test, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 of eight cores, and will still have 6 GB of RAM, running the Android 9.0 Pie, most likely with the One UI interface. Either way, it should be the most powerful in the family, but there are still no details about price or availability.
It is no longer a secret that Samsung is working on several models of the new Galaxy M line this year. With the proposal to offer cheap smartphones and their own differentials, the South Korean giant already has an event scheduled in Brazil for this Wednesday (24) where it should present some models here. But news about the new Galaxy M40 appear on the Internet.
According to information released by SamMobile, the model SM-M405F, which will soon become better known by the popular name of Galaxy M40, was recently certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and, as you can imagine, information regarding records and support for the Wi-Fi network were disclosed in official documents.
Little information has been released with Wi-Fi certification, but we have details that the smartphone will be the first of the line Galaxy M running Android 9.0 Pie direct from the factory. Regarding connectivity, we have confirmation that the model arrives with support for Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct and WMM optimizations.
Still according to the site, it is said that the Galaxy M40 will arrive with a more powerful variant with 128 GB of internal storage, being an excellent bet for the entry market, although the price should be higher than the natural.
Other leaked details regarding the new model of the line indicate 5,000 mAh battery capacity, Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 7904 or Exynos 9610 processor and triple rear camera besides being equipped with biometric reader under the display. This way, Samsung would be offering some of its main differentials to the masses with more affordable price.
Samsung has confirmed event in Brazil where it will reveal the Galaxy M line in the domestic market, but we do not know if the Galaxy M40 is included in the launch that occurs on Wednesday (24). It is more likely that we see the already revealed Galaxy M10, M20 and M30 around here.
