The Bluetooth Special Interest Goup has now certified the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s. The organization also lists the model number SM-G398FN in addition to the name of the smartphone. Bluetooth certifications usually speak in favour of an early release of the tested devices. The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 from 2017 could thus shortly receive a successor or offshoot.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s: Release in June 2019?

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s also appears on the website of Dutch online retailer CentralPoint. The estimated delivery date is June 3, 2019. Whether the robust outdoor smartphone will actually be available so soon remains to be seen. After all, Samsung has not yet introduced the device.

SamMobile already wants to know some details about the features of the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s. Accordingly, the outdoor smartphone comes with Samsung's mid-range chipset Exynos 7885. It already does a good job in the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). In addition, the device offers 3 GB RAM, which would be 1 GB more than its predecessor.

Furthermore, it is likely that the Xcover 4s will be certified according to a military standard. So the smartphone should be able to plug in some things without being damaged. Android Pie would probably serve as the operating system. The battery should have a capacity of 2800 mAh.
