Sony said: "We will use backward compatibility to make our gaming community faster and more seamlessly transition to the next generation." Sony said it will provide more AAA games for PlayStation 4, as it will be in the next three years. Continue to be “the main source of user engagement and profitability”.
Earlier, Sony Chief System Architect Mark Cerny said the PS5 will use the third-generation eight-core AMD Ryzen CPU and a custom GPU based on the AMD Radeon Navi series. The GPU will support ray tracing, a rendering technology limited to high-end gaming PCs and will provide immersive visuals for the PS5. The PS5 will use SSD for the hard disk, making the PS5 ten times faster than the PS4 Pro when loading complex scenes.
Now more information about the PS5 is still unknown, such as when to launch the PS5, and what the price is. But one thing is certain, Sony will not show the PS5 on the E3 next month, so we have to wait for Sony to reveal more details before the PS5 launch.
