Xperia 1 has been designed for those who particularly appreciate images: it will be the first smartphone in the world with OLED 4K CinemaWide 21:9 6.5″ display and Eye AF function. The camera will therefore allow a high precision of focus and exposure thanks to the rapid shooting function up to 10 fps and tracking AF/AE.

The 12 MP triple camera features a 16 mm lens for wide panoramic views, a versatile 26 mm lens and a 52 mm telephoto lens (35 mm equivalent). The f/1.6 lens and Dual Photodiode image sensor, with 1.4 μm pixel pitch, allow low-light shooting while keeping moving subjects in focus. The stabilization system is hybrid and uses an algorithm to ensure smooth and stable recordings.

To propose a vision faithful to the intentions of the film-makers, the X1 processor for mobile devices was used (based on the same technologies as the Bravia TVs), which allows the remastering of all content, including streaming, in HDR. The visual experience will also be enhanced by the presence of Dolby Atmos and 360 Reality Audio capable of reproducing a three-dimensional audio that increases the feeling of realism.

As for gaming, the Game Enhancer technology optimizes the performance of Xperia 1, blocks unwanted notifications and allows the recording of games. If you're wondering which titles are optimized for a particularly large format with 21:9, here are some examples: Fortnite, Asphalt 9 and Arena of Valor. Sony Xperia 1 will be available in black, purple, grey and white, which you can see in the gallery below.
