At MWC 2019, the Sony Group relaunched its mobile strategy by unveiling a new series of Sony Xperia smartphones with a 21:9 display.
These include the Sony Xperia 10 and 10 Plus, already available and positioned in the mid-range, and a Sony Xperia 1 under Snapdragon 855 high-end, which will arrive in May / June.
Quickly, the rumor of the existence of a Sony Xperia 2, also under Snapdragon 855 but more compact, emerged, with a slightly lower diagonal display (6.2 inches) and in QHD / 2K instead of 4K, a triple photo sensor at the rear but still at 21:9 ratio.
Rumors unveils the detailed rendering on CashKaro.com, showing a smartphone very close to the Xperia 1 but with the triple photo sensor in a shifted position on the left instead of being centered.
The Sony Xperia 2 could be unveiled at the IFA 2019 in Berlin next September. According to the rendering, the display would measure approximately 6.1 inches diagonal and 8.3 mm thick (9.2 with the photo sensor)
