According to a new BGR.in report, the technology has managed to get its hands on an almost complete leak on Xiaomi's 2019 Mi Max smart phones. So this year the Mi Max 4, as well as an extra Pro version are to come on the market. This report, apparently based on information from a "reliable smartphone industry expert", suggests that both devices are phablets in terms of size. Both devices are to be launched on the market with a 7.2-inch display.
The type and resolution of the panel of the two devices is unfortunately not determined by the leak, although there are indications that these smartphones will have a water drop notch and very narrow display edges. The Mi Max 4 will apparently be operated by a Snapdragon 660 SoC, while the 4 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 675.
The Mi Max 4 should have either 4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB internal memory. The Mi Max 4 Pro comes with either 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB memory. Both the normal Mix Max 4 and the Pro version will be shipped with Android 9.0 by default.
Furthermore, the normal version should have a Samsung GM1 camera sensor with a resolution of 48 MP, while the Pro version should be delivered with an improved Sony IMX586 sensor. The sensor of the Pro version would allow an extra night mode and video recording with up to 960 FPS. According to the report, a relatively large 5800mAh battery is additionally installed.
It will definitely be exciting to see if the information from this leak will come true and how the device will perform on the market.
