Tesla gets rid of Standard Range versions of Model S and X While cutting price on Model 3

Tesla this week adjusted the prices and products of all three of his Model S, Model X and Model 3. In terms of high-emission models, Tesla has removed the standard series from the S and X models. This means that the "basic" model of each car has become quite expensive, with the S Long Range selling for $79990 and the, X S Long Range selling for $84990.

In terms of Model 3, the situation has also changed. The, Standard Range Plus is still the basic model, but its price has dropped by $1000 to $38990. It is now the only rear wheel drive Model 3, because the carmaker has cancelled the remote rear wheel drive, and the Model 3 Standard Range is still the best choice for buyers looking for the absolute cheapest Model 3. The best news in this adjustment is that the performance version of Model 3 is $5000 cheaper and $54990 cheaper. Given that the outside world is impressed by its ability, this should be good news for buyers.

Tesla will not report financial results for the second quarter until July 24, but we already know that the company has gained a foothold in the past quarter. The carmaker announced in early July that it had produced a record 87048 cars and delivered 95200 in the second quarter, and demand looked strong, so it was interesting. The outside world wants to know whether Tesla's liquidity in pricing and options will bring it better profit margins.
