A "cyberpunk" design and a "Blade Runner" look... by describing its future electric pickup and revealing a mysterious teaser from the front of the vehicle, Elon Musk has clearly made many designers' mouths water. That's all it took for some to try to anticipate what the Californian automaker's big new product might look like in the future.
Taking up the front and the wide light band presented by the manufacturer, several designers tried the experiment. Diffused via the Reddit platform, the two visuals below imagine a model with a large glass surface. Enough to cut cleanly with the slightly too cubic style of traditional pick-ups.
As for the third, it even goes so far as to imagine a vehicle capable of stretching lengthwise to provide more cargo space.
It remains to be seen whether the designers have hit the mark. Promising a vehicle with more features than a Ford F-150 and similar performance to a Porsche 911, Tesla will present its electric pickup truck at the end of the year.
