Updated laptops Acer Nitro 5 and Swift 3 with 2nd generation AMD Ryzen processors will be shown on Computex 2019

Acer announced two laptops with Advanced Micro Devices' second generation Ryzen mobile processors and Radeon Vega graphics - the Nitro 5 and Swift 3.

The gaming notebook Nitro 5 is equipped with a 2nd-generation Ryzen 7 3750H 2nd generation processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and Radeon RX 560X graphics. The diagonal of the IPS display with Full HD resolution is 15.6 inches. The ratio of screen area to the surface of the case is 80%.

The communication capabilities of the device include a Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 module with 2 × 2 MU-MIMO technology, as well as a number of ports, including HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbit / s).

Efficient cooling Nitro 5 during long gaming sessions provide two fans, plus support for technology Acer CoolBoost, which allows to increase the fan speed by 10%, and cooling the processor and graphics processor to improve by 9% compared with the work in automatic mode.

The Swift 3 notebook uses AMD processors up to the Ryzen 7 3700U 2nd-generation quad-core chip with Radeon Vega graphics with the option of installing Radeon 540X discrete graphics (optional) to perform more resource-intensive tasks, such as video editing, or for casual games.

Swift 3 is equipped with a 14-inch display, opening 180 degrees. The thickness of the case of the device, made of aluminum, is 18 mm, weight - 1.45 kg.

The Taiwanese company announced that it will demonstrate the new products at the upcoming Computex 2019, which will be held in Taipei from May 28 to June 2, 2019.
