The great innovation of Vivo Nex 2 is in the screens. There are two AMOLED panels: 6.39" on the front surface and 5.49" on the back, with resolutions of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 1920 x 1080 pixels, respectively. The secondary display allows you to either use the phone normally or take selfies.
The rear screen also has other services. In manufacturer demonstrations, the secondary display can function as a touchpad during games, for example. It also allows it to be used as a mirror for those being photographed, showing the framing in real time.
Another interesting detail is the presence of the fingerprint reader under the screen. The mobile phone also has a facial recognition system on the rear camera.
The Vivo Nex 2 has no front camera. As such, the smartphone features two 12-megapixel sensors, with apertures of f/1.79 and f/1.8, respectively, on the back only. There is also a 3D camera, for facial recognition and improve the quality of selfies.
One feature that may please selfies fans is the Lunar Ring. It's a circular flash that brings poorer lighting in order to soften the clarity of photos. There is also support for Portrait Mode and Night Mode.
The data sheet is advanced, with the eight-core Snapdragon 845 processor and 128GB storage. What's striking is the 10GB RAM, above even the most advanced edition of the 8GB Galaxy Note 9. The expectation is that the phone will bring good performance even with the heaviest games. The battery is 3,500 mAh.
The phone comes out of the factory with the latest version of Android, Android 9 (Pie).
